This tea is produced in Guan Dong village in the Tun Mu Reserve. The batch is divided into two parts: one part is made into smoked tea, and the other part into Da Chi Gan. This tea was a delightful discovery, as it combines tenderness, sophistication, subtlety, and powerful fruity flavors, while retaining all the qualities of a red tea such as its tartness, fiery taste, and strength. Because the tea is heated over steam, pressed, and then dried again during the pressing process, the taste is deeper and more powerful than that of loose leaf tea. The tea is conveniently stored in a box with two 50g bricks, perfect for serving.
