Lao Bai 2
£2.60 – £60.00
“Lao Bai 2.0. In 2018, we bought exquisite white tea in the village of Xiao Ken, not far from the town of Zhen He, the birthplace of white tea. The farmer from whom we bought the tea swore that after aging for 5-6 years, the tea would become amazing. We believed him and stored 2 boxes for the future. And then, just as our supply of Lao Bai ran out, we remembered those boxes. We pressed the tea and the result was truly impressive. Unlike Lao Bai 1.0, which we purchased ready-made, we pressed Lao Bai 2.0 ourselves and had the opportunity to control the leaf quality. The difference in quality was evident. The tea is harvested from the Zhen He Da Bai bush, as tradition requires. Because the tea is prepared using traditional manual techniques, it not only carries the flavor of white tea but also features a subtle yet distinct note of red tea. This note becomes clearer and stronger with age, which connoisseurs and enthusiasts highly value. The large leaves allow this tea to be stored for quite a long time under the right conditions. It has a powerful, sweetly delicate taste, with both volume and subtlety.
