Da Hong Pao

This traditional tea hails from Wu Yi Shan and is a blend of several tea varieties, offering a balanced taste and a rich aftertaste. While it is well-roasted, giving it a taste reminiscent of crusty bread, it still manages to retain the unique flavor of each of the teas that make up the blend. The tea is harvested on the border of Wu Yi Shan Reserve, on the semi-rocky Mount Ho Yan Shan, and is manufactured by the Lao Chen Cha Chang, owned by a fourth-generation tea master who firmly upholds the tradition of local tea production. It is considered the epitome of Wu Yi teas.
